Charles Landreneau Sr.

Charles was a handyman when it came to working on cars and trucks. He was always happy to help family and friends out when it came to vehicle problems and they knew he was the man to call.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Rebekah Dotson and husband Travis; two grandchildren, Traci Landreneau and Levi Landreneau; a sister, Brenda Austin and husband Russell and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; a son, Charles Landreneau, Jr.; one sister, Theresa Moncrief; brother, Robert Landreneau; and a brother-in-law, Francis Moncrief.

The family will welcome relatives and friends at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles (3001 Ryan St. Lake Charles, LA. 70601) on Friday, November 17, 2023 beginning at 12:00 p.m. until the time of services. A Celebration of Life led by Celebrant Jody Barrilleaux will begin at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens (6325 Common St. Lake Charles, LA. 70607).
