Bessie Dear Beall Hall

A member of Trinity Baptist Church since 1950, she taught Sunday school, was secretary to several pastors and volunteered in the church media center for many years.

Bessie Dear was an honor graduate of Bolton High School in Alexandria, LA.

She is survived by her daughter, Bessie Dear “Niffie” Hall Brown and son-in-law, Herman Lee Brown of Lake Charles and granddaughter, Susan Elizabeth Brown Boudreaux and great grandchildren, Frances Elizabeth Boudreaux and John Lance Boudreaux all of Missouri City, TX; her granddaughter, Katharine Dear Brown Kemp and husband, Tony Scott Kemp of Youngsville, LA; great grandson, Thomas Scott Kemp and wife, Gracie Campbell Kemp of Baton Rouge as well as great grandson, Timothy Scott Kemp; daughter, Dixie Hall Lewis and son-in-law H. Raymond Lewis of Magnolia, TX; granddaughter, Shelby Rae Lewis Kleuvers and husband, Steven Kleuvers and their sons, Colton Lewis Kleuvers and Cade Lewis Kleuvers of W. Fargo, ND. Bessie is also survived by her son, H.T.W. “Tom Hall, lll” and daughter-in-law Joy Tatum Hall of Lake Charles; grandson, Michael Cao and wife, TiTi and great grandchildren, Mason, Elsie and Timothy Cao of Huntington Beach, CA; Merleen Delvaille Dale, her dearest friend from their school days, of Alexandria, LA, as do several Beall and Deare Cousins.

Bessie Dear is preceded in death by her parents, her husband H.T.W. “Tom Hall, Jr”, her daughter, Hope Hall Cao, her brother, Wilkin Lafayette Beall Jr. and her grandson, “Beau” Brown.

A memorial service for Bessie Dear will be held at Hixson Funeral Home on Thursday, May 3, 2018. Visitation will be from 4pm until the service at 6:30pm. The Reverend Chris Wales will officiate.
