William Boyd Hensley

William was an Oldham County native. In recent years he had resided in Litchfield, Ky.

He was a heavy equipment operator for 30 years and self-employed for 10 years in construction. He was a 50 year member of Fortitude Lodge #47 F&AM in LaGrange, Ky and Past Master in 1976. He was Worthy Patron of The Eastern Star in 1982-1983 and an Associate Patron in 1981-1982. He is a member of Buckner Baptist Church and LaGrange Heights Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his wife Carol; son, Dennis Lynn Hensley; parents, John C. Hensley Sr. and Mavie Hensley; brother, John C. Hensley Jr.; sisters, Mary Lou Hensley and Thelma Mae Jones.

Survivors include his sons, Junnie Hensley of Scottsville and Jimmy Hensley (Kim) of

Eminence; daughter, Sandy McGlothin (Eric)of Louisville; 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; sisters, Janice Asbell of LaGrange and Vena Powell of South Carolina; several nieces and nephews; his companion, Linda Stribling and her daughter, Debbie Stribling.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 11 AM on Monday, August 12, 2019, at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home with burial to follow in Valley of Rest Cemetery.
