She was born to Kevin Smith and Patty Huff on July 9, 2001 in Shelbyville, KY.
Sierra was church going, involved in many church programs. She enjoyed family time especially a cookout and watching her kids play in the park. Sierra loved a good tequila rose or Mike's Hard Lemonade - Strawberry was the best! She was a Daddy's girl and loved her brother, niece and nephews dearly. Even when bullying her brother who was bigger than she, it was love at the core. Laughter and love were wherever she was, like a shooting star with a heart of gold. Sierra struggled but always pushed past those struggles, making the best of life and living for her family, who was her entire world and motivation.
She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Mary Lou Smith; and uncles, Tony Huff and Randall "Hogan" Garrett.
Left to cherish Sierra's heart of gold are her husband, Trenton Whitaker; daughters, Lillian, Ivanna, and Haisleigh Whitaker; dad, Kevin Smith; brother, Nick Smith (Savannah); grandparents, Harry Smith (Cindy) and Donna Garrett; niece, Aiyanna Smith; nephews, Brayden and Neko Smith; aunt, Jennifer Smith; uncles, Wesley Smith and Ken Smith; extended family and many friends.
