He was born to the late Paul Darrell and Evelyn Clay (Tiller) Sibley on October 12, 1935 in Westport, KY.
James was a paratrooper in the US Army, owned and operated Jim Sibley Farrier Service in LaGrange and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening. He was happiest when spending time with his family, especially his grandkids.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sister; Nancy Jane Staples.
Left to cherish the memory of James are his wife of 66 years; Pat Sibley, sons; Jimmy Sibley (Laurie) and Johnny Sibley (Julie), 5 grandchildren; Evan Sibley, Eric Sibley, Sara Creasey (Stuart), Peyton Clute (Devin) and Zac Clute (Miranda), 3 great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.
A celebration of James life will be held at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 706 W Jefferson St, LaGrange, KY on Sunday, March 12, 2023 at 5pm with visitation from Noon until the start of the service.
Memorial donations can be made in James name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the American Kidney Fund.
