Perla Potts Harkins 83, of Bedford, passed away on May 15, 2018.
She was a retired mail courier for USPS. Perla also was a volunteer for 4H through UK extension service in Trimble County, a former model with Alix Adams Talent Agency and conducted the Pageants for Oldham County Fair. She also enjoyed playing the dulcimer, nature and exploring her woods.
Survivors include her husband of 28 years, Dan Harkins; sons, Mike Potts (Penney) and Brad Potts (Susan); step son, Scott Harkins (Kerri Lynn); sisters Ellen Heavrin (Lamar), Helen Beard (Carl) and Joyce Ann Nichter (Joe); grandchildren, Cameron Potts (Kerry-Lyn), Tyler Potts (Katie), Branden Potts, Alana Potts and Cami Harkins; and great grandchildren, Cooper and Libby Potts.
