Sara B. Wingo

Sara Beatrice “Bea” Wingo, 92, of LaGrange passed away Sunday morning at Florence Hand Home. “Bea” was born March 22, 1930 in LaGrange the daughter of the late J. T. “Bud” and Sara Norene Jackson Wingo. She was a faithful member of Dallas Presbyterian Church and retired from the Dunson Division of West Point Stevens. Survivors include: Several cousins and many friends including Mrs. Betty C. Phillips and her children.

Funeral Services for Ms. “Bea” Wingo will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 7, 2023 from the chapel of the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with Reverend Orin L. Sampson officiating. There will be a visitation Tuesday from 1 o’clock until the service hour of 2 o’clock at the funeral home. Interment will follow on the family lot at Restlawn Memory Gardens.
