Lillian Claire Wagner

Mrs. Wagner was born October 15, 1920 in Roanoke, AL to the late George W. Poore and Mary Eunice Dye Poore. She was a member of Loyd Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Wagner worked for a number of years as a Safety Deposit Box Examiner for the State of New Jersey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Edwin Wagner and her daughter, Carol Wagner.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Robert Wagner and his wife, Darlene of NJ; grandson, Eric Wagner of NY; granddaughter, Kristen Weiman and her husband, Timothy of MD; cousin, Alice Cavender; close friends, Dorothy Sams and Myrlene Murray; other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 am Tuesday, October 28, 2014 in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with Dr. Rix Threadgill officiating. The gathering of family and friends will be Monday, October 27, 2014 from 3pm to 6pm. Burial will be in Shadowlawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Loyd Presbyterian Church, Troup County Humane Society, or West Georgia Hospice.
