Jane Goodwin

Jane was born December 20, 1952 in LaGrange, daughter of the late Clarence and Exa Beatrice Costley Cox. She was a lifelong area resident and a member of the First Baptist Church on the Square. Jane was a hairstylist for many years, and she and her husband, Don, owned and operated Don and Jane’s Hair Expressions.

Survivors other than her husband include her sons, Donel Goodwin, Jr. of Milledgeville and John (Clancey) Goodwin of Dunwoody; grandchildren, Mary Caroline Goodwin and John Goodwin, Jr.; and a niece, Karen Dickerson of Denver, CO.

A service to celebrate the life of Jane Goodwin will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 31, 2011 in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with Rev. Bobby Robinson officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service.
