Helen was born December 9, 1925 in Ft. Worth, TX. She was an educator in the Clayton County School System for many years and loved to travel, with excursions all over the world. Helen was a talented artist and enjoyed painting and drawing. For as long as she was able, she loved to exercise and stay active. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Edward Norris; grandchildren, Kevin Sherrer and Kent Norris.
Survivors include her son, Paul (Delaine) Norris; grandchildren, Keith Sherrer, William Sherrer and Lynn Sherrer; granddaughter-in-law, Carrie Sherrer; great grandchildren, Hannah Sherrer and Madison Sherrer; other relatives and friends.
A Graveside Service will be held Friday, March24, 2023 at 1:00pm in Restlawn Memory Gardens with Dr. Orin L. Sampson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made to the Dallas-Dodd Presbyterian Church in memory of Helen L. Norris
