Mrs. Williamson was born January 19, 1923 in Muscadine, AL, daughter of the late Lum Ballew and Roxie Jewel Chaney Ballew. She was a member of Shiloh Methodist Church in Carrollton, GA and was retired from Duracell and Company.
Survivors include her husband, Maryland L. Williamson; four children, Mattie J. Rigsby, Judy A. Parker, Eddie L. Williamson, and Elaine G. McCathern; 15 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 9 great great grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Geneva Martin.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary Chapel with Reverend Leroy Rigsby officiating. Burial will follow in Restlawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home this evening from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
