Bobby Joe Hooper, Jr.

Bobby was born February 18, 1966 in LaGrange, son of the late Bobby Joe Hooper, Sr. and Carolyn Ann Shelnutt Cooper. He was a member of United Baptist Church and was employed with Bob Wolfe Landscaping and Maintenance In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Gwendolyn Shelnutt.

Survivors include his aunt and uncle, Faye and Dennis Merna; and cousins, Denice Engle, Chasity (Chuck) Barnes, Caydence Barnes, Savannah (Jacob) Gaddy, MyKayla Gaddy, and Houston (Hannah) Austin. and a very special friend, Lete’ (Tater) Gasaway

, other Aunts and Uncles; Billy Hooper, Virginia (Sonny) Barber, Jerry (Connie) Hooper, Wendell (Gina) Hooper, Charles Hooper, Tommy (LaQuita) Hooper, Darnell (Pete) Botthof; and many cousins that loved him.

A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 8, 2016 in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with Rev. Ben Turner and Rev. Chad Hill officiating. The gathering of family and friends will immediately follow the memorial service at the funeral home.
