Ryan Matthew Plezia

Ryan was born in Blue Island, IL on December 23, 1971. He graduated from El Cajon Valley High School and earned an Associates Degree from ITT Technical Institute. Ryan worked in the transportation/moving industry as an operations manager, and was a resident of San Diego county for 38 years.

Ryan deeply loved his family and they were always first in his life. Ryan is survived by his loving children, Abigail R. Plezia, Kayla (Joey) Pasos, Cruz Castillo, Frank (Monique) Castillo; loving sister, Charlene R. Plezia; and grandchildren, Elena, Lucas and Alexander. He also leaves his dog, Crystal. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carol Ann Combes and David J. Plezia.

Ryan loved to spend time with his family and friends. He loved to laugh and make others laugh. He was an avid baseball fan and loved the Chicago Cubs. He loved reading mysteries and horror books. Ryan was an immensely private person and spent many years on his spiritual journey.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 16, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Erickson-Anderson Mortuary, 8390 Allison Ave, La Mesa, CA 91942. Located in downtown La Mesa.
