Lisa (Nilius) Lindquist passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 due to complications from cardiac arrest in San Diego, California. She is survived by her husband Tracy, sister Laurie, several nieces, and nephews, plus her three cats and two rabbits. Lisa grew up in Omaha, Nebraska and received a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
Lisa was a loving wife and caring friend. She was an animal lover who spent many hours volunteering, and also as a foster mom to several kittens and rabbits. Lisa enjoyed going to concerts, from local venues to the New Orleans Jazz Fest. Lisa liked to travel throughout Europe, Asia, and the United States. She will be missed by so many people. Lisa lovingly gave the gift of life through organ and tissue donation.
The family would like to thank the San Diego Fire Department and the many doctors and nurses at Sharp Grossmont Hospital. Her family will host a celebration of Lisa's life at a later date.
