Ladonna was born on 08/13/1943 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She is preceded in death by husband of 62 years Jose, mother Mary Jane and stepfather Benigno (Poppy).
Ladonna and Jose owned and operated Jane’s Country Kitchen in Lemon Grove from 1984 to 2009 which was established by her mother in 1959. She enjoyed ceramics, painting, crocheting, knitting and art glass work and spending time with her family. She also loved animals especially dogs and she was blessed with many over the years.
Ladonna is survived by her; children Pamela Alvarez, Paul (Tina) Alvarez and Phillip (Amy) Alvarez; 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
A service will be held for Ladonna at 1:00 PM on September 13, 2024 with a reception to follow at Erickson-Anderson Mortuary, 8390 Allison Ave, La Mesa, CA 91942. Due to limited parking, you may need to use metered street parking ($1.25 for 2 ½ hours) or residential street parking.
