Tomas was a 1967 graduate of Harlingen High School. After attending two years of college he enlisted in the United States Marine Corp during the Vietnam War. He served 4 years in the military and earned the title of Sergeant Stillman before he was honorably discharged in 1974.
Tomas enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching the Dallas Cowboys football, horse racing and golf. He enjoyed watching with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Ermelinda Stillman. Brothers; Robert (Susie) Stillman, Rene Stillman, Noe (Sherrie) Stillman. Sisters; Mary (Manuel) Gomez, Sylvia (Rudy) Marin. Also, numerous nieces and nephews. We would like to extend a very special Thank you to Martha's Care Home who helped me take care of Tomas in his final years of life.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Tomas and Anita Stillman. Brothers; Ruben Benitez, Joe Stillman, Ray Stillman, David Stillman and Sister; Dora Villegas.
Honored to serve as pallbearers; Rene Stillman, Cody Stillman, Ray Stillman Jr., Daniel Stillman, Manuel Gomez III, Miguel Angel Uresti and Nick Adan Uresti.
A visitation for Tomas will be held Friday, July 7, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. A chapel service will occur Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. followed by a burial at Restlawn Memorial Park, 14166 US-83 BUS, La Feria, Texas 78559.
