Rosenda Lopez

Rosa is preceded in death by her parents; Jesus Cantu and Antonia Nieto Cantu.

Rosa was born on October 11, 1936. Married the love of her life Epifanio Quintero Lopez on March 29, 1955. They were married for 60 years until death separated them on February 26, 2016.

Rosa enjoyed cooking, baking her famous Hawaiian wedding cake, gardening, garage sale hunting and taking care of her home. She always made her guests feel welcomed. She enjoyed their company with a good sense of humor, laughing and joking. She worked with the San Benito School District at Fred Booth Elementary, then she worked at Dolly Vinsant Memorial Hospital until she retired. After retiring she always cared for her family and her granddaughter Britney until she started school.

Left to cherish her memory is son Fred (Betty Jo) Lopez, granddaughter, her pride and joy; Britney J. Lopez and her brothers and sisters. She also leaves numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 from 3 pm to 10 pm with a Celebration of Life service at 7 pm at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home. Funeral service will continue on Wednesday, October 19 at 10 am. Burial will follow at Heavenly Grace Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be; Fred Lopez, Leo Hernandez, Samuel Lopez, Ernie Garcia, Fernando Garcia, Gabriel Soto and Samuel Lopez Jr.
