Rosa Maria Marroquin

She was born on June 28, 1946 in Mercedes, TX to Juan and Ramona Gomez. She met the love of her life, Robert Marroquin. They married in Quincy, WA on April 11, 1964. While living in Quincy, they had five children. Rosa worked at Lamb-Weston until 1987 when she retired.

After retirement, Robert and Rosa moved to Lynden, WA to be closer to her family. After 11 years, they decided to make La Feria, TX their final home.

Rosa enjoyed going to casinos, shopping and spending time with her friends and family. Her favorite moments were when she and Robert spent time with their long-time friends Tony and Louisa Gonzalez.

Rosa is survived by her husband Robert; her children Linda; Bobby (Michelle); Joey; Amy (Kory); and Vanessa; her siblings Lupe, Juanita, Sylvia, Esther, Gloria, Diane and JR; her grandchildren Garrett, Taylor, Jacob, Jocelyn, and Alina, her great-grandchildren Cashton, Alicia, Isabella, Damien, Kindle, Izaiah, Westyn, Ryder, Braylynn, Colton and Barrett.

Rosa was preceded in death by her father Juan and her mother Ramona; her grandchildren Leah and Nathan.

A visitation for Rosa will be held Tuesday, January 16, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, Texas 78559, followed by a prayer service at 7:00 p.m.
