Patricia Bradley

Pat was born on 06/05/1943 to George & Phyllis Harrington in Madison, WI. Pat graduated from Madison East High School, Madison, WI. After further education, Pat worked at Pyrofax in Madison and would retire her working career with Browning Ferris Industries in Eden Prairie, MN as Office Manager after 28 years.

Patricia married Gerald Bradley on March 10, 1962 in Honolulu, Hawaii. They went on to have two children, Scott and Jeff. Pat and Gerald were married for 60 years.

Patricia retired in 2000 and relocated to Harlingen Texas in the winter months for the past 22 years. They lived in Garrison, Minnesota during the Summers where they spent their time with their Children and Grandchildren. They spent their Summers in Sherwood Forest where Grandma Pat was always cooking up homemade soups and deserts for the kids to enjoy as soon as they arrived up north on Friday nights. They made a beautiful home in the woods and were right next door to family and friends. They moved to Harlingen full-time/year around in 2018 where it’s warm and sunny most all of the time! Some of Patricia’s hobbies included crocheting “scrubbies” (everyone had them on their sinks), gardening, working at the clubhouse, volunteering to raise money for those in need and she loved her kids and grandkids. One of her passions was volunteering at Stuart Elementary School in Harlingen teaching children how to speak/read/write English. She did this for 20+ years and then continued on raising money at Christmas time for families in need. Patricia always gave her all to everyone, even when she didn’t have anything to give, she gave her love and support to anyone that needed it.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, George and Phyllis Harrington. She is survived by her husband, Gerald Bradley, Sons- Scott, Jeff, 7 grandchildren, Sarah, Jay, Rachel, Jared, Janessa, Johnny and Jacki 1 Great Grandson Parker, Brother Glenn Harrington and Sister Gail Castro. Many more relatives, nieces, nephews, Uncles and Aunts.

A Celebration of Life service is planned for Thursday, December,15, 2022 at Palm Gardens at 2:00p.m., Harlingen Texas. This event will be covered on Facebook Live on Palm Gardens Fellowship Church page and will be available for viewing after the service for those that are unable to attend or view live.

There will be another Celebration of Life service held in Minnesota at a later date this Summer.

I always told Mom, “You’re not here for a long time, you’re here for a good time! Live every day like it’s your last, one day, you’ll be right!”
