To  wife and familia may the Lord consol ya. Prayers and more prayers.  Did not know Hmno Louie personally but friends on fb. He always was cheerful and Gods word came first always being thankful. God has called his angel home. Again my deepest condolences to familia and loved ones.🌹


It was a sad day when I heard the news . Louie and the  whole family were so sweet. I remember louie always smiling , not only as a young guy.  But also every day as I opened FB . . when he was a teen I remember he had a few bible studies with some of us around the block .one thing I will always remember is he was the one that said to me ..."you go home and tell your mom you love her ". That memory has always stayed with me .  My condolences to the family through this hard time . the Cantu family love you all!

A man of faith, Louie. To my brother in law, you will be missed by all. Especially your little brother & nieces. Thank you for always sharing your word of God towards us every time we see you. And for always being there for my daughters at every birthday celebration or holiday you’d drop by, you & Rose expressing your generosity and love towards them just to put a smile on their face. They had the best memories with you and loved your jokes!  Thank you for being the best uncle. You will be missed by everyone. May you watch over your wife & family and continue to protect them and give them all the strength.

I first met you at CrossChurch bookstore. I'll always remember how your love for each other just radiated. You'd always make me smile wherever we met. I'll always remember his dancing for the Lord,his sweet hugs and sincere smile. He will be missed tremendously, God's got his plan,he is blessed. Rose keep your Faith in Jesus. Love you.🙏💕💞

My brother louis i will always remember you as a person who was humble always with a smile but most importantly the love and fear for the Lord.....a MAN who was not afraid nor embarrassed to dance for the Lord no matter the place. My brother i strongly believe that the Lord transformed your life you had a great testimony now you walk with the Lord with a bigger smile and dancing away for Jesus. My brother until we meet again. Louis I knew you because my Cantu family lived in Crete. When I did see you out there you had a smile I remember years ago I had some worries problems I was going through and you gave me scriptures to read Godly advice a true friend in Christ I was so happy you and Rose got together the happiest couple in Facebook always happy showing God's love. Tito and I will remember you always   thank you for your friendship 

Brother Louis was an amazing man. His testimony is a true testament as to what a good and loving God we serve. He was always so nice and ready to serve or give. I  loved to see him dance at the alter, just like David. His and Rose's love story is that of fairytales, so in love. Brother, till we meet again, on God's great dance floor. 

I met Louis while my tia Rosie was battling breast cancer. She told me all about him, how he loved God, owned his business, and how they met.  I tagged along for many of their first dates as a couple and even when they were a married couple. Writing this has me in tears because I love my uncle. He was the father figure I never had, he made my aunt happier beyond belief and for that I am thankful. My tia Rosie and uncle Louis deserved each other, they were perfection. I owe him everything, he gave me money without me asking, he helped me through college and while I was struggling with my identity. I don't think I would be me if it wasn't for him or the things he gave me that kept me going. He did things that he never had to, he was an amazing man and it breaks my heart to see that he is not on this Earth anymore. I know that in my  heart that he is still here and watching over his family and wife. He meant a lot to me and his family was so accepting of me. I remember talking to him recently and he congratulated me for becoming a teacher. I told him I wanted to visit and he told me "It's bad here mija, don't come, stay safe, we will see each other soon." I won't ever forget the smile and laughs you brought my tia, she means so much to me and I know she won't ever forget the love you brought her. Even thinking of you now, I remember the magnesium citrate you'd take and how grandma got mad at you for making the bathroom smell. I miss you and I will always remember you because you gave me faith in true love and miracles. I know that you brought my aunt faith when she battled her cancer, you were there when no one was. I can't put into words what it feels to realize I won't ever see you smile again. I hope that I can be like you and I motivate myself daily to have a closer relationship to God.  

This great man of God made me feel welcomed in God’s house (Living Stone) when we first arrived there. Later Louis took his time to tell me part of his testimony when he walked in the world before knowing God. His passion in the story that he had to tell was very unique. The passion that Louis had for God is not unique but it was his passionate relationship with God. I always saw him with a smile and he would always stop what he was doing to help others. The Love that he showed for his wife was a Godly love that filled her heart with joy. God showed Louse a new life and filled his life with Love. To live a life like Louse did is only a real blessing from God. You will be missed but now you are dancing in the throne room of God and all over the Streets of Gold. 

l loved watching him dance at cross church. Spoke once with him when he attended kne of our community groups. May he rest in peace.

I remember Louie from the time we were kids growing up in Crete illinois he always had a smile on his face back then .. But I loved when he shared his testimony I was so touched and glad to see how God had blessed him... His smile was contagious... A servant of God to the end ... Enjoy heaven ... See you again brother

Our friend Louis, we will meet you again on that beautiful shore! You will be known as you were known, with that wonderful smile, a quick wit, a twinkle in your eye, and a love in your heart for your God and for all others. 
We nick named you “Dancing Bear”....the day we saw you dancing at the altar worshiping your God the way that you knew how. In each step you took to the worship music, those looking on could see and feel the true joy that was in your heart. Yes, the “New Man” shined forth like a bright light that we can not and will not forget.
Later on, you gave us your testimony. What a deliverance! What a transformation. “Shine On”; our love and friendship remains eternal in and with Our Most High God! 

You came to me in my dreams yesterday and your body was so shiny and you were smiling. Rose was there and shouted "You see miracles do happen!!" It was an over whelming feeling I felt like I had seen Jesus!! I love you Louie you were a The Best Grandfather the girls could ever ask for. We love you and miss you 💚✝️

I remember meeting brother Louis at church a few years back and all I remember is that he was different (along with sister Rose). I immediately felt and heard the sincerity of what he spoke and was inspired by him on many occasions to search , serve, and love God the way he did. His testimony by far has been one of thee most impacting since giving my life to the Lord. He will continue to inspire people even after his death for people to dance until they see the gates of heaven. We will see you again my brother. 

Luis (David) first met Luis at church about 2013. We became friends quickly. An awesome man of God, very generous. He was always willing to help and serve anybody. He led many to the Lord, a crown of gold is on his head now. He had a way to make people laugh and feel better about themselves. He helped many get out of the pit they were in and guided them with their walk with God. He was called David (bible) as to one day he was told to refrain from dancing in front of the altar, i told him the story of David and how he danced for God in front of everybody and he continued to dance for the Lord with no holding back. The Lord used him intensely because of this and he showed no shame. He was just giving God the praise, honor and glory that he deserved for what He did in Luis life. Luis was a man of faith, honor, truth, trust and a God like character. Gonna miss you Luis (David).
