Cynthia Maria Bond, a devoted mother, wife, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born on July 23, 1949, Cynthia lived a life full of passion, creativity, and unwavering love for those around her.
Cynthia's early years were marked by her adventurous spirit; she cherished every moment spent camping, fishing, and canoeing with her family. The great outdoors provided her with a sense of peace and joy that she carried throughout her life. These cherished memories inspired her love for nature, which she often captured in her beautiful paintings.
An avid reader, Cynthia could often be found with a book in hand, immersing herself in stories that transported her to different worlds. Her love for cinema was equally profound; she delighted in watching all kinds of movies, watching movies with her family brought laughter and joy to her home.
Cynthia had a flair for shopping, particularly for jewelry, and she enjoyed finding the perfect piece to complement her outfits. Her warmth and kindness extended to her love of knitting, creating handmade gifts that warmed not only the bodies but also the hearts of her loved ones.
Cynthia is survived by her devoted husband for 47 years, Gregory Bond; her children, Michael Bond (Tracy), David Bond (Amanda), and Anthony Bond (Valerie), her grandchildren Christopher Michael and Malchi Broadfoot, and her sibling Cecilia Romero, Ricky Romero, Junior Romero, Joey Romero and Rudy Romero. She was a beacon of love and strength, always offering support and encouragement to her family and friends.
In honor of Cynthia’s compassionate spirit, the family requests that donations be made to Mount Sinai Hospice, an organization dedicated to supporting families with loved ones who need care. This heartfelt tribute reflects Cynthia’s desire to uplift others during their times of need, ensuring that her legacy of love and kindness continues to shine.
