Amparo de la Rosa, a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2024, at the age of 99. Born on November 27, 1924, Amparo dedicated her life to her family, nurturing each generation with love, wisdom, and unwavering support.
A pillar of strength, Amparo was always there for her children, providing guidance and encouragement through every challenge. Her warmth and kindness extended beyond her immediate family, as she welcomed everyone with open arms and a loving heart.
Amparo’s legacy lives on through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, each of whom carries a piece of her spirit. She shared countless cherished moments with them, from family gatherings filled with laughter to quiet evenings filled with stories and love. Her unwavering dedication to her family will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
Amparo is survived by her children Yolanda de la Rosa, Carmen Fisher, Graciela Arredondo (Jose), Amparo del Bosque, Linda Garza (Sabino), Diana Sauceda, Dora Villanueva (Tony) Daniel de la Rosa (Ana) and Crispin de la Rosa, her sister Juanita Alaniz, her daughter in law Helen de la Rosa, including many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, a loving family who will forever hold her memory in their hearts. Amparo is preceded by her husband Redubel de la Rosa, her children Cristina Alaniz (Jose) , Pablo de la Rosa, Redubel de la Rosa Jr. (Paulita), Juanita Reyna-Soto, Victoriano de la Rosa, her son in law Michael Fisher, her brothers and sisters, and her .
A memorial service for Amparo will occur Sunday, Oct. 6, 2024 from 4PM-8PM with a rosary at 6PM at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home, 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, TX 78559. A graveside service will occur Monday, Oct. 7, 2024 at 10 AM at Restlawn Memorial Park.
Amparo de la Rosa will be deeply missed, but her love and spirit will continue to shine through the generations she touched.
