Agustin Medellin Pena

La Feria – Mr. Agustin Pena, 98, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, surrounded by his family at Valley Baptist Medical Center. Mr. Pena was born in Matehuala, San Luis Potosi, Mexico on May 28, 1923.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Leonides Pena and Luisa Medellin, his wife, Eustacia Suarez, his son, Jose Luis Pena, siblings: Cleotilde, Maria del Refugio, Juanita, Aurelia, Jose Aniceto and grandson, Fernando Pena.

He is survived by his children, Benigno Pena and Juan Pena. Mr. Pena has 13 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter . He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather. His family will cherish the true blessing it was to have had him live a long full life and is forever indebted to his love and sacrifices.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 14, 2022 from 3pm to 9pm at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home in La Feria, Texas. A Holy Rosary will be recited at 7pm.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10am on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at St. Francis-Xavier Catholic Church at 502 S. Canal St. in La Feria, Texas. Interment will follow at Heavenly Grace Memorial Park.

Serving as Pallbearers will be his grandchildren: Benigno Pena Jr, Agustin Pena, Jose Luis Pena Jr., Orlando Pena, Jaime Pena, Juan Carlos Pena, Angel Pena and Adan Pena.
