Mary Elizabeth Stapleton

Mary E Stapleton, age 91, of Warsaw, Indiana went to be with the lord on Sunday, August 20, 2023 at 7:58a.m. at Mason's nursing home. Mary was formerly of Kokomo, Indiana. Mary loved teaching the Bible and praying for others. She enjoyed cooking and making candy. She loved her family and was loved by everyone she came in contact with. She is survived by her daughter; Monica (Peter) Moon, granddaughter; Bonnie (Curtis Anthony) Graham, great grandchildren; Jaylyn, Jayla, Brooklyn, and Cameron; as well as a bunch of nieces and nephews. Mary is preceded in death by her husband; Marion "Mike" Stapleton, and her brothers; Carol, George, and Leroy Morrisett, sisters; Opal Ingle and Helen Ingle, parents; Charles and Lura Morrisett. A public visitation for Mary will be held Saturday, August 26, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Ellers Mortuary & Crematory Center, 3400 S. Webster Street, Kokomo, Indiana 46902, followed by a funeral service at 10:00 AM. A special thanks to Mason's nursing home in Warsaw, Indiana who took care of her and bonded with her.
