Loretta "Sally" O. Chandler, age 85, of Peru, Indiana passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2024. Sally was born in Pleasant Plains, Arkansas to William Roberson and Sophia Bell (Duke) Praither on March 28, 1939. She enjoyed sewing and painting, as well as working on her flower garden. Most of all, she loved all of her children and grandchildren. Her warmth and kind nature will be tremendously missed.
Sally is survived by her children, Tom Chandler, Carol Burrous, Chris Chandler, Jeff Chandler, Wes Chandler, Jon Chandler, Gina Hickey, Angela Rogers, Jeramy Chandler; sister, Betty Zehering; and brother, Marvin Roberson; as well as many grandchildren she loved with all her heart.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Chandler; sons, Jim Chandler, Ben Chandler, and Wayne Chandler; sister, Helen Cleaver; and brothers, Gene, Paul and Ed.
A time of visitation for Sally will be held Thursday, December 12, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Ellers Mortuary & Crematory Center, 3400 S. Webster Street, Kokomo, Indiana 46902, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM, followed immediately by her burial.
Sally will be laid to rest in Kokomo Memorial Park, 1300 East North Street, Kokomo, IN 46901-3190.
