He worked at Kokomo Sanitary Pottery for over 20 years and then at Haynes International. He was an avid motorcycle rider, sports fan, and Colts fan and was a member of the Harley Motorcycle Club.
He is survived by two daughters, Sara Turner, Kokomo, and Jessi (Seth) Stafford, Kokomo; two brothers, Richard Turner, Fairmount, and Dale (Carol) Turner, Kokomo; three sisters, Patsy (Bill) Geiger, Florida, Diann (Greg) Croddy, Kokomo; and Beverly Fields, Kokomo; brother-in-law, Frank Johnson; several nieces and nephews; and his previous wife of 16 years, Lee Anne Turner.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Shirley Johnson.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery.
