Jeanette Colleen Holland, age 69, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2019 in her home in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born to Bernis and Genevieve Billeter in Bynumville, Missouri on January 8, 1950.
She moved to Lebanon, Indiana as a young child with her parents and was the youngest of three children. After graduating high school, she married Vernon Holland and had three children, Scott Holland, (son), and Saran and Nancy Holland (twin daughters) and enjoyed the opportunity to be a stay at home mother for many years. Later, in 1982, she divorced and joined the workforce in her mid-30's and began working for HHGregg Appliance Store in 1986 as an accounts payable clerk. She retired from HHGregg after many years of service in 2014. She then decided that she wanted to go back to work and just be in the presence of people again, so she went to work at Clark Appliance as a clerk for a short period of time and then Appliance Doc as an office manager and then Freedom Mortgage for a year in their Final Document department, with no knowledge of the mortgage industry. She finally retired for good in September 2018. After retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her family and attending her grandchildren's sporting events.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents, Bernis and Genevieve; her baby sister, Deloris; and her first grandchild, DeNeil Carroll.
Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2019 from 11:00am to Noon at which time family will greet family and friend and immediately following will be the funeral service at the same location.
