October 15, 2017 at 2:15 pm, our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother left this world for Glory. Jane Ann Hill was born January 29, 1935 to Martha Alice Burke Hill and Stanley L. Hill. On July 3, 1954, she married Paul R. Willis in Middlesboro. He passed February 29, 2015. They were married for 61 years.
They moved to Kokomo where he started a business and she worked at Cuneo Press and Accurate Parts. She was a member of Kokomo Missionary Baptist Church for over 50 years. In 2001, they retired to Fruitland Park, Florida for 10 years, before returning to Kokomo in 2011.
Surviving are her daughter, Pamela Ann Coop (Edwin) of Kokomo; grandchildren Brett G. Heflin (Jennifer) of Kokomo and Jill Ann Hatfield (Art) of Leesburg, Florida; great-grandchildren Riley T. Heflin, Ember Joann Hatfield, and Mason Gregory Hatfield, all of Leesburg, Florida, Raigan Roxanne Heflin and Beckom Pressley Heflin of Kokomo; and sister Joyce Skidmore of Middlesboro, Kentucky.
Preceding her in death are her husband, Paul Willis; her parents; brother James T. Hill, and brother-in-law Jack Skidmore.
Jane was devoted to her daughter, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She loved to spend time with them. Also her best friend, Eva Shoffner, who is a blessing to our family.
Out family would like to thank Golden Living Center and Southern Care Hospice staff, who were dedicated to mom’s care.
As per Jane’s wishes, there will be no services. A private memorial service will be held in Ewing, Virginia at a later date.
