James “Jim” David Keck, 54, Kokomo went to be with the Lord at 2:05pm on October 10th, 2017 at Community Howard Regional Hospital.
Jim was born on September 20th, 1963 in Kokomo to his parents James Harold Keck and Mary Lois Meadors.
He is survived by his mother Mary Lois (Steven) Meadors, sister Lisa (Kyle) Rayl, half-brother Jefferson (Wendy) Meadors of Twinsburg, OH, aunts Jean (Robert) Waddell and Barbara Wingfield, both of Louisville, nieces Katie (Stefan) Wilson of Broomfield, CO and Kristin Rayl of Los Angeles, CA, and cousin Gregory (Becky) Stanfield of Louisville.
Jim attended Taylor High School and went on to serve our country proudly in the United States Army Reserves. He retired from Chrysler and was an active member of the U.A.W. #685. He was a member of Indian Heights Grace Brethren.
He was preceded in death by his father James Harold Keck, grandparents Hiram and Agnes Wingfield and Calloway and Avie Keck.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Eric Heathers and his staff for their exceptional care through the years.
Memorial Contributions in memory of Jim, may be made to We Care
Services will be held Saturday October 14th, 2017 at 12:00pm with visitation from 10:00am at Ellers Mortuary Main Street Chapel with Pastor Steve Cole officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Albright Cemetery.
