Gina Joyce Fewell

Gina Joyce Fewell, age 69, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at Ascension St. Vincent Kokomo at 9:33 AM. She was born on January 17, 1955 in Fort Carson, Colorado to the late Don Lucas and Mary (Hawk) Wolfe, who survives. Gina married Jerry Fewell and he preceded her in death. Gina graduated from Indiana University of Kokomo with a bachelor's degree in psychology. Gina was employed for Bona Vista as a Direct Support Professional for 30 years. Gina enjoyed decorating, cooking, baking, shopping, knitting, quilting, gardening, traveling, and making memories. She loved her family and her cats. She is survived by her son, Chad Lucas; honorary sons, Jonathan and Trenton Haley; mother, Mary Wolfe; grandchildren, Johnathan Haley and Wesley Haley; along with the Fewell children and many other grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special cousin, Terri D'Amico; and cats, Timmy and Mia. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry; and her beloved cat, Wally. There will be a Celebration of Life for Gina on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 from 4:00 PM until the time of service at 6:00 PM, at Ellers Mortuary and Cremation Center, 3400 South Webster Street, Kokomo, IN. Memorial contributions may be made in Gina's memory to Bona Vista or Kokomo Humane Society Cat Cafe. Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
