Franklin "Duke" Leroy Hunt

Franklin Leroy Hunt, 79, of Kokomo, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at Community Howard Regional Hospital. He was born to the late Francis and Evelyn (Lewis) Hunt in Kokomo on February 23, 1943. Franklin married Carolyn (Fouch) Hunt on March 2, 1970, and she preceded him in death on February 2, 2020.

Frank spent many years working on the pipelines. He owned and operated his own business making seals for pipelines. He enjoyed rebuilding classic cars and creating his own masterpieces.

Frank is survived by two sons Eddie Willis & Rick Willis; Grandchildren, Michael Willis, Ricky Willis, Amie Bentley, Robbie Head, Ashley Greer, Abby Simpson and Kierstan Corbit; Brothers, Frances Hunt, David Hunt, Archie Hunt and Ronnie Hunt; Sisters, Brenda Tyler and Linda Hillman; Daughter in-law Becki Willis; several Great Grandchildren and Great-great Grandchildren.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Carolyn; Sons, Willie and Donnie Willis; Daughter, Jinny Head; Daughter in-law, Tonya Willis; Son in-law, Robert Head Sr.; Sisters, Mary Tanner & Carolyn Morrisette; and Great Grandson Ethan Bentley.

There will be a time of visitation for Frank on Friday, January 6, 2023 from 12:00 P.M. until the time of service at 2:00 P.M. at Ellers Mortuary Main Chapel, 725 South Main Street, Kokomo.
