Elmer W. Williams, 78, of Kokomo passed away at 12:58 AM Monday January 28, 2019 at Kokomo Healthcare. Born October 19, 1940 in Kokomo, he was the son of the late Earl Williams and Lura (Sexton) Williams. He was employed with Meijer in Kokomo and also entertained with Men of Note and the Kitchen Band. He enjoyed gardening, singing, and playing BINGO.
Survivors include one sister Eva ( Gary) Adkins of Kokomo, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers Cassell, Billy, Kenny, Jeff, David A. and E. Robert Williams Jr.; also by four sisters Isabelle Durham, Jo Anne Larimore, Linda Williams, and Florence June Williams.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday February 2, 2019 at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, 3400 South Webster Street, Kokomo. Pastor Matt Hartke will officiate. Private burial will follow at Crown Point Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Saturday at the mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Howard Haven or Guardian Angel Hospice with envelopes available at the mortuary.
