Nécrologie de Duncan Christopher / Naomi Elizabeth McNew
Duncan/Naomi McNew laid their weary head to rest on October 30, 2023. They/them were preceded to their peace by their beloved Grandma D, Wanda Elaine Wheeler, Grandparents Elizabeth and Randall Coffey, aunt Cinda Canchola, uncle Johnny Jones, and cousin Clay Jones. They were loved and supported in life by parents Brian and Amy McNew of Kokomo, sister Patience McNew and Brayden Sherrod of Kokomo, brother Kaleb McKee and Amber Mckee of Lafayette and niece and nephews Emma, Ashton, and Kayden, and his Grandfather Roger A. Wheeler of Indianapolis, and “Grandma” Aunt Vickie Mitchell of Concord, Arkansas. Beloved aunts and uncles who also loved and encouraged Duncan/Naomi were Amanda and Gabriel Basurto of Branson, Missouri, Carl McNew of Des Moines, IA, Liana Jones of Adolphus, Ky, and Michelle and John Grenier of Lewisville, In. Not to mention, a plethora of much loved and supportive cousins, great aunts and uncles, and other family and friends. Duncan/Naomi was a committed and avid gamer. They were also a magically talented artist and graphic designer, creating unbelievable beauty from the age of 5. They had a penchant for the cheesiest of “B” movies, musicals, and show tunes. And it must be said, a lifelong, totally devoted Star Wars fan. They also were a whiz at impressions, and a rock star at one liners. Duncan/Naomi loved their pets as if they were siblings. They enjoyed their weekend breakfast tradition with Dad, and shopping, manicure, lunch trips with Mom. They loved their job at Disc Replay, the perfect place for them. They will be missed immensely by all who loved them so dearly.
