Brenda Joan Adkins

Brenda Joan Adkins, 75, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away October 12, 2024. She was born on May 26, 1949 in Lafayette, Indiana the daughter of Phillip D. DeVault and Geraldine J. (Graham) Lawrence. She married the late, Pascal "Doug" Adkins on January 12, 1974. Brenda worked at Delco Plant #5 for 30 years before retiring in 1996. While at Delco she was the Lottery Lady, Euchre Lady, Avon Lady, and was in charge of the funeral fund for her coworkers. She loved selling Avon, playing computer games, and Black Friday Shopping.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Brent (Susan) Adkins of Frankfort, Indiana, Chad (Kim) Adkins of Lafayette, Indiana, Jeremy (Sherri) Adkins of Kokomo, Indiana; grandchildren, Hali (Frank) Downs, Kevin Adkins, Josiah Adkins, Anna Adkins, Jaryd Adkins, Jakob Adkins, Matthew Adkins; great-grandchildren, Dayton Harris, Presley Downs and Coleson Downs; step-children, Beverly (Roger) Brahic, Rick Adkins, Patti Adkins.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Doug; brothers, Duane DeVault, Charles DeVault.

Visitation will take place from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 pm on Friday, October 18, 2024 at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home 2097 West Alto Road Kokomo, Indiana 46902.
