Thomas Edward Stephens

THOMAS EDWARD STEPHENS age 64 of Knoxville, passed away August 10, 2015 at U.T. Medical Center. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church. Tommy was a former member and deacon of Mountain View Missionary Baptist Church in Scott Co. where he was also a volunteer fireman. He was also former owner of F.H. Shoemaker Store in Robbins, TN. He was a former employee of Ingles Grocery Store. Preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Ruth Stephens and his mother and father-in-law, Helen and Floyd Shoemaker. Survived by his loving wife, Boolie Shoemaker Stephens; daughters, Laura Van Hall of Oak Ridge, TN and Melanie Ruth and husband, Charles Vincent Riccardi, III of San Francisco, CA; grandchildren, Jasmine, Joshua and Jaden Morrow and Jarod Van Hall; sisters, Pam Stephens, Thelma and Dick Fallen all of Titusville, FL, and Chloe and Joey Hargis of Somerset, KY; sisters and brothers-in-law, Felecia and Larry Gates of Brentwood, TN, Joesetta and Gerry of Cary, N.C., Brom and Jenny Shoemaker, Cheryl Butler, Martin and Barbara Shoemaker and Christy and Jerry Marcum all of Oneida, TN; 21 nieces and nephews.
