Steve Wesley Phillips

Stephen "Steve" Wesley Phillips, age 73, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Monday, October 10, 2022. Steve, also known as "Papaw" loved to laugh, joke around and play sarcastic practical jokes. He was an avid UT Vols, Nascar and Wrestling fan. Papaw enjoyed hunting, camping, driving, eating and having a good time. You could always find him in his recliner watching t.v. or reading on the porch with his four-legged son, M&M.

Steve was preceded in death by parents, Labben Wesley and Helen Faye Phillips; wife, Peggy Phillips; step-son, Richard "Ricky" Ensley; daughter-in-law, Misty Tinsely Ensley; grandson, Cody Ensley and brother-in-law, Harold Taylor.

Steve is survived by son, Wesley J. Phillips and wife, Stacey; daughter, Jaiden Renee Phillips; second love of his life, girlfriend, Angel (Brock) King; sister, Judy Taylor; granddaughter, Brittney Nichole Finchum; grandson, Andrew Ensley; many nieces; nephews; four-legged son, M&M; special friends, Jennifer Henderson, Todd Anderson and many other close friends.
