Sid Harrel

Sid L. Harrel age 62 of Strawberry Plains, passed away Sunday, May 7, 2017 at Tennova Residential Hospice. He was a member of Chilhowee Hills Baptist Church. Sid was an employee of Russell’s Pest Control for over 25 years. Preceded in death by his parents Floyd and Jean Harrel. Survivors include his loving wife of 27 years Karen Harrel, sons and daughters-in-law Andrew Brown (Beth), Jeffrey Brown (Naomi) and Matthew Brown (Julia), daughter and son-in-law Courtney Mascaro (Mitchell), grandchildren Drew, Zach, Elijah, Micah, Lexi and Haley Brown, brothers and sisters-in-law Fred and Libby Harrel and Greg and Vicky Harrel, and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers: Kevin Crumm, Tony Ellis, Terry Harrel, Adam McHan, Mark Montemarano, Chris Richards, Randy Snyder and Mark Walker. Honorary Pallbearers: Employees of Russell’s Pest Control.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Berry Highland Memorial, 5315 Kingston Pike, and Knoxville, TN 37919 from 5-7pm. A Celebration of Life will follow at 7pm with Pastor David Collins officiating. Family and friends will meet Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 10:30 at Berry Highland Memorial for an 11am interment service.
