Shirley Ruth Lane Sellers, age 86 passed away at her home on August 15, 2024.
Shirley was a retired hairdresser. She enjoyed mowing her yard and going to The Alamo Steak house.
Shirley is preceded in death by her husband James Vance Sellers; father, Robert “Hack” Lane Sr. and mother Violet King Lane.
She is survived by her brother Robert (Joyce) Lane Jr.; sister Mable Ann Lane; nephew Brian (Frankie) Lane; niece Jessica (Justin) Etherton; great nieces and nephew Malaney, Morgan and Devin.
A receiving of friends will be held Tuesday, August 20, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the chapel of McCarty Evergreen Funeral Home, 7426 Asheville Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37924. Family and Friends will gather Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at 10:45AM for an 11:00 AM graveside service at Thorn Grove Cemetery on Carter School Road.
