Born in California but raised in Boise Idaho, Attended Boise State University where she completed a BS in Biology and a BS in Chemistry. In attempts to follow her mother's love of helping others, she spent 25 years of her first career achieving Chief Medical Technologist of multiple hospitals across the western portion of the United States. Kim also found time to follow her passion for teaching at junior colleges while raising her two children by herself. Relentlessness came over her and she moved across the country to Florida in attempts to extinguish an unknown stirring in her heart, unfortunately nothing could be found. Her desire then was to return to the west coast but stopped in Houston, Texas for a break. There she found work in the oil and gas industry and eventually started her second career in the engineering field. This newly found passion within engineering afforded her a means to raise her children, work at multiple jobs sites across Texas and a one year assignment in Aruba, to which she never seemed happier. She ended her second career with 25 years of service to Jacobs Engineering and retired. A big move brought Kim, daughter Lee and two granddaughters Megan and Brittney to Washington State for several years but found the cold too much to handle. One last move to be closer to her son brought her to Tennessee to bask in the sun amongst the trees and hill country until her passing.
Her hobbies were water bound mostly, swimming and snorkeling, i.e. Aruba assignment was the greatest. She had a passion for photography, traveling, the occasional penny or nickel slot machine, a fun filled event with her daughter Lee. Kim was very athletic and loved sports, playing, not watching. She had a mean fast ball that her son eventually learned how to catch.
Preceded in death by her parents John K. and Rose M. Langille, she is survived by her brother Wallace Langille (JoAnn). Her two children, daughter Kimberly M. "Lee" Ingersoll and son Dean E. Ingersoll (Cassandra) , four granddaughters, Megan N. Lopez, Cassie M. Ingersoll, Brittney M. Filer and Katrina Berney, her three great grandchildren, Wyatt J. Glover, Mason Berney and Freya R. Filer.
As God embraced her life, may he now hold her in his arms as a blessed angel watching over all.
