Sandra Lee Beeler Sandberg of Knoxville, age 66, passed away Friday, October 7, 2022, at home. Sandra professed her faith when she was 12 years old. She was a member of Northside Christian Church. She was a treasured wife, mother, grandmother. She possessed a spirit that could not be broken despite many difficulties in her life. Sandra loved God, her husband, children, and grandchildren fiercely. She took an active role in her community and was a Scout leader, Rainbow mother, and volunteer at her children’s schools. Sandra was an incredibly unique and creative person who was passionate about art, nature, camping, travel, bible study, music, and reading. Sandra was a floral designer for many years and used her profession as a ministry. She took great joy in providing flowers to numerous family members, friends, and members of the community during their happiest and saddest occasions. Sandra was a multiple myeloma cancer survivor of 22 years. She overcame extraordinary odds during her cancer journey and experienced a multitude of miracles throughout her illness. Her unyielding faith and testimony were an inspiration to all that knew her. She made an unbelievable recovery and went on to manage a legal office for several years before retiring. Sandi will never be forgotten by those who loved her and understood the struggles she faced in her lifetime. Preceded in death by parents, Shirley Collins, and John Beeler. Survived by her husband of 45 years, David Sandberg; children, Alex Sandberg (Tamara), Adrianna Plummer (Terry), Shane Sandberg ( Mandy); grandchildren, Kendall Plummer, Deuce Hensley, Levi Hensley, Marcus Hensley, Cadense Hensley; sisters, Linda, Sherry, and Wanda; brother, Johnny; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive friends Friday, October 14, 2022, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm with a Celebration of Life Service beginning at 8:00 pm at Northside Christian Church, 4008 Tazewell Pike, Knoxville, TN 37918. Flowers and condolences will be received at Northside Christian Church on the day of service.
