Ronald Lee Mason, age 80 of Naples, FL and formerly of New York, passed away on January 31, 2021 at his daughter's home in Tennessee surrounded by his devoted family. Ronald joined the US Navy at the age of 19 and served six years. He was a member of the New York Civil Service Retired Employee's Association and Uniformed Fire Alarm Dispatcher's Benevolent Association following 27 years of faithful service to the New York City Fire Department. Ronald will be remembered for his love and dedication to his family and to his country. He was an honorable man of integrity and will be dearly missed.
Ronald was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Mason; father, Carlton Mason; brothers, Richard and Carlton B. Mason; and sister, Virginia Mason. He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Dianna M. Mason; sons, David S. Edward M. and Nicholas C. Mason; daughter, Sheryl A. Mason; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and other extended family and friends.
