Robert "Bob" Davis

Robert E. (Bob) Davis, age 85, of Knoxville, passed away January 27, 2016. He was a faithful member of Dante Baptist Church and retired from Tennessee School for the Deaf after 36 years. Preceded in death by his loving wife Neomia Davis and his parents Elmer and Lena Davis and several brothers and sister-in-laws. Survived by sister-in-law, Lucy Glenn; sons: Jimmy Davis, Mike Davis, Paul Roach (Kathy), Charlie Roach (Debbie), Reece Davis (Glenda), and daughter, Sue Oakes (Jim); grandchildren: Brad Roach, Joe Davis, Mike Davis, Amy Rippy, Alicia Weaver, Andrea Warren, Nikki Williams, Charlene Roach, Alex Cantrell and Mechelle Stooksbury, along with several great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 29, 2016 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm in the chapel of Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home with the Funeral Service following at 7:00 pm with Pastor Phillip Murphy, officiating. The Interment will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 9:00 am in Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his sons.
