Paula Elaine Patterson

She was born in Wyandotte, MI on June 17, 1950, She became a single mother in 1981, but would go on to complete an associate's and bachelor’s degree. She served the community of Knoxville through work with UT Police Department and Knoxville Police Department.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey Klaus and Barbara Jean (Jacox Ward); siblings, Paul Klaus and Dawn Reaves; and her beloved daughter, Sherrie Patterson.

She is survived by her son, Steven and daughter-in-love Heather of Jefferson City, TN; one brother, Charles Klaus; three granddaughters: Amber Patterson Bautista (Angel), Mikayla Tasch & Megan Tasch; many nieces and nephews; special friends, Nick Turner, Mary Ruth Little and numerous others. Paula knew no stranger, her spunky, outgoing nature will be missed by all. The family of Paula Patterson would like to extend special thanks to the Knoxville Police Department during this time.

Receiving of friends will be on Saturday, October 26th at True Life Church in Jefferson City, TN from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm with the memorial service to follow at 12:00 pm. A private burial will be held later.
