Norma Lorine Wilson, age 89, of Knoxville, Tennessee went to her Heavenly Home early Thursday, October 20, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 29, 1933 in Knoxville, TN and raised in Mascot. Norma was a Carter High School graduate and football Queen. She was a licensed practical nurse at St. Mary's Hospital and later retired from Dr. Robert Brooks office. Norma was a member of Chilhowee Hills Baptist Church and she loved her church family. She enjoyed reading, flower gardening, sewing, cooking for her family and enjoyed family time.
Norma was preceded in death by parents, John Neal and Goldie Howell Neal; husband, Jim A. Wilson; brother, Hubert Neal; sister, Shirley Wilson. She is survived by sons, Tony A. (Vicky) Wilson and Bruce (Janice) Wilson; grandchildren, Caressa (Mike) Dixon, Brad (Amber) Wilson, Jeremy (Gena) Wilson; great grandchildren, Blake and Natalie Dixon, Tanner and Morgan Wilson, Chloe Wilson and Ethan Sands.
Family will receive friends Sunday, October 23rd from 4-6pm at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home with funeral service following at 6pm. Pastor David Collins to officiate. Interment will take place at Greenwood Cemetery Monday, October 24th meeting at the graveside at 10:45am for an 11am service. Pallbearers: Brad Wilson, Jeremy Wilson, Tanner Wilson, Mike Dixon, and Blake Dixon. The family would like to thank Smoky Mountain Hospice for their care.
