She was a faithful member of Cumberland View Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by husband of 52 years, Rev. William Frank Shown; son, Rev. Donald "Donnie" Shown; grandson, Donald Bradley Shown; daughter-in-law, Sherrie Lynn Shown; son-in-law, Sonny Alexander; grandchildren-in-law, Duran Stanfield, Rev. Brent Ellison, Christy Baird, and Ada Baird; mother and father, Columbus Daugherty and Della Byrge Daugherty; father and mother in-law, Alonzo Shown and wife Emma; brothers, Andy, Earl, Conda, Earnest, Paul and Bob; twin sister Goldi; and sister, Susie.

She is survived by daughters, Emma and Rev. C.H. Baird, Della and Dewey Burris, Ella and Rev. Jerry Kidwell, Helen and Rev. John Lewis, Carolyn Alexander, Angela and Mike Kimberlin; sons, Ronnie and JoAnn Shown, Arvil and Rhonda Shown, Rev. Keith and Priscilla Shown; sisters, Dessie Hunt, Evelyn Thompson; brothers, Arlie Daugherty and wife Barbara, Clarence Daugherty and wife Wanda; 37 grandchildren; 65 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren and beloved "talking" dog, Judy.

The family will receive friends Friday, May 28, 2021 between the hours of 4:00-8:00pm at Cumberland View Baptist Church, 849 Pinecrest Road, Jacksboro, TN. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, May 29, 2021, 2:00pm at Cumberland View Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Ault and Rev. C.H. Baird officiating. Family and friends will go in procession to Indian Creek Church Cemetery, 2507 Pinecrest Rd. Jacksboro for an interment service. Nola's oldest grandsons will serve as pallbearers along with the other grandchildren and great-grandchildren serving as honorary pallbearers.
