Mildred Townsend McPherson

Arrangements under the direction of Berry Funeral Home, Knoxville, TN.McPherson, Mildred Townsend, age 92, of Seymour, died Saturday evening after an extended illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil C. McPherson; her son, Douglas C. McPherson; and her daughter, Janice E. McPherson. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Pat McPherson; grandson, Jack T. McPherson and wife Elizabeth; grandson, Mark McPherson and wife Dani; great-grandchildren: Patrick and Tara McPherson; friend and caregiver, Willie Melton; and extended family in Florida, Georgia, and the Knoxville area. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the building fund of Sevier Heights Baptist Church, 3232 Alcoa Highway, Knoxville, TN 37920 or Cedar Grove Baptist Church, 5302 Nails Creek Road, Maryville, TN 37804. Family will receive friends on Wednesday in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM with the funeral service to follow at 8:00 PM, Rev. Don Wilson and Rev.
