Mildred Irene McCroskey

A lifelong Knoxville native, Mildred was well loved by everyone she encountered. She enjoyed cooking, swinging in her swing on her back deck, keeping a clean home, going to the Goodwill, Karm and a good bottle of wine. Mildred was the mother of 3 children, 2 grandchildren, 3 great grand children and 1 great great grandson. She was a kind soul who would always be willing to help anyone in need. She had a heart of gold and anyone who knew her would agree. She loved her family dearly especially her great grandchildren, Blake, Josh & Jake. These boys couldn’t do no wrong in their grandmothers’ eyes. These boys were everything to her and she to them. We’re all going to miss her, but we find comfort in knowing that she’s with her heavenly father, husband, and her son’s. We love you dearly and we’ll miss you, Mam’s.

Mildred was predeceased by her husband of 44 years, Jerry D. McCroskey, son’s Dennis Taylor & Rick Taylor. Mildred is survived by her daughter, Deborah J Gourley, grandchildren, Shannon Alls & Sharon Cooper (Bobby), great grandchildren Blake, Josh, and Jake.
