Mary Towe Tonroy

Tonroy, Mary Towe, age 94, of Knoxville, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at NHC Healthcare. She was a member of Rocky Hill Baptist Church and retired from Lakeshore Hospital. She was preceded in death by husband, Roy Tonroy; son, Sanford Allen Towe; two brothers, and six sisters. Survivors include son, Ronald N. Towe; special friend, Missy Brown; grandsons: Neal Towe and wife Laura; Shawn Towe and wife, Karen; great-grandchildren: Jessica Brown and husband, Joe; Westley Keck, Cianna Towe, and Corey Towe; great-great-grandson, Maddox Brown; sister, Lucille Sapanas of Kentucky; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the 2:00 PM funeral service on Wednesday in the Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel with Pastor Wayne Lay officiating.
