Mary Oleta Presnell age 93 of Midway, formerly of Knoxville, passed away December 18, 2024. She attended the First Baptist Church of Morristown. She retired from Holston Gases. She is preceded in death by husband, Birl Presnell; parents, Curtis and Iva Mae Sherouse; brothers, Jack and Troy Sherouse. Survived by son, Gary Presnell and wife, Melissa; daughter, Linda Monday; grandchildren, Zach Presnell and wife, Elisabeth, Jennifer Barrett (J.R.), Stephanie Horner ( Alan), Aaron Monday, Brittany Fell ( T.J.); 6 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Clara Lou Workman and husband, Bud; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Friday at Weaver’s Chapel with a service to follow at 7 pm. Rev. Dean Haun officiating. Family and friends will meet at 9:45 am Saturday at Woodlawn Cemetery for a 10 am interment. Pallbearers: Gary Presnell, Zach Presnell, Aaron Monday, Phillip Thompson, Bryan Nuchols and J.R. Carter.
