Mary Ann Hudson McGraw

Mary Ann Hudson McGraw age 87 of Knoxville, TN passed away to her heavenly home Sunday, February 19, 2023. She was born on September 11, 1935 to the late Ernest Rae and Otie Mae Thornburg, in Paint Rock, N.C. Mary Ann joins her late husband, Roy Hudson; brother, Harold Thornburg; sisters, Ellen Christine Smith and Virginia Hudson; grandson, Brian Burns. She graduated from Central High School in Knoxville and of the Presbyterian faith. Mary Ann loved spending time at the beach with family and she had a passion for reading. She retired from Knox County schools where she had numerous friends over the years. Mary Ann left to cherish her memory, husband of 25 years, Charles McGraw; daughters, Teresa Burns and Kathy Hudson; son, Roy Alan (Pam) Hudson; grandchildren, Nathan Burns, Scott (Libby) Burns, Lindsey (Eric) White, Brittany (Eric) Chambers, Karley Hudson (Daniel Hernandez) and Dustin (Ashley) Hudson; great-grandchildren, Kingston Burns-Jenkins, Everly Burns, Agnes Chambers, Jax and Jolie White; brother, John Thornburg; sister, Linda Dunn; several nieces and nephews; special cousins, Ed (Frances)Hudson and Charlotte Lewis and many family members and friends. Visitation will Thursday March 2, 2023 from 5-7 p.m. at Berry Funeral Home 3704 Chapman Hwy, A Celebration of Mary Ann's life will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Leland Lyon officiating. Family and friends will meet Friday March 3, 2023 at Woodlawn Cemetery in Knoxville for a 12:00 p.m. Interment. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to, Sevier Animal Care Center, Shepherd Of The Hills Baptist Church and Helping Hands Sock Ministry of Rio Revolution Church in Maryville.
